GEORGE KONDYLIS
Architect Engineer N.T.U.A.
Born in Athens in 1959. Graduated in 1977 from the 1st Plaka Highschool, and in 1983 with an MA as an Architect Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens.
As a professional architect engineer, he practices the freelance profession since 1983, founding on the same year, with his companion Diana Giannopoulou, the architectural firm Micro Team Architects. Their architectural work has been highlighted in architectural contests and exhibitions, both national and international.
In 1986, at the 2nd Biennale of Young Artist from the Mediterranean, proposing 2 projects at the sector of Architecture and Design, and in 1987 at the exhibition of CLEAU-TEE " Private Housing in Greece and EU"
In parallel with his architectural work, he worked in sculpting and ceramics as well as photography. During 1977-1978, he had an internship at the ceramics workshops of K.Birbilis and in 1979 participated at the 21st National Ceramics Exhibitions with his sculptures. During the years 1979 - 1983 he collaborated with the journalist A. Mihalas, performing a photography reportage in various countries around the world. With his photographs, there have been published 7 special edition books. In 1984 participated in a research group of the N.T.U.A., funded by E.O.M.M.E.X., designing industrial prototypes of children's toys and open air constructions.
He is in charge of architectural synthesis and project management. As a founding member of the firm, has the senior partner and supervisor's role with his big experience in architectural projects, designing, budgeting and site's supervision, having always in mind the 3 axis of the firm: Time-Cost-Quality
DIANA GIANNOPOULOU
Architect Engineer N.T.U.A.
Born in Athens in 1959. Graduated in 1983 with an MA as an Architect Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens.
As a professional architect engineer, he practices the freelance profession since 1983, founding on the same year, with his companion George Kondylis, the architectural firm Micro Team Architects. Their architectural work has been highlighted in architectural contests and exhibitions, both national and international.
In 1986, at the 2nd Biennale of Young Artist from the Mediterranean, proposing 2 projects at the sector of Architecture and Design, and in 1987 at the exhibition of CLEAU-TEE " Private Housing in Greece and EU"
From 1986 till 1990 she worked as a professor of free and architectural design in highschool students, applicants of the Architecture Engineering, at the post-highschool programs of the Ministry of Education. Also during the year 1987-1988, she was a scientific collaborator to the department of Morphology-Rythmology, and the course of History of Modern Architecture, as an assistant to the professor N.T.Holevas. The period of 1997-2001, after a recommendation of the painter Daniel Gounaridi, she took charge as the principal professor of Interior Design, at the private college VAKALO, in collaboration with the Darby University of Britain.
Her philosophical interest in the relation between constructed space and human body, pushed her to explore and study the human body, anatomy and functions. In 2008-2010, she participated in advanced seminars of the Upledger Institute Inc. of Scotland and received a certification of Craniosacral Healer I & II Level as well as Somatoemotional Release Level I. During the years 2009-2013, she completed her studies in Fascia Therapy, following Claudio Santi, teacher and founder of Fluid-Kinetics. She has also participated in seminars of chi kung, asiatsu, functional anatomy and anatomy of chi, and she is also member of the Greek Hatha Yoga Association, where since 2009 is doing courses by Eva Ruchpaul.
Diana is also a succesful painter, having completed 3 personal exhibitions (1997 Villa Stella at Iraklio Attica, 2004 at Nostos Gallery at Santorini, 2015 at Argo Gallery in Athens) and 2 group exhibitions, (2015 Argo Gallery, 2015 Art Athina)
As a member of Micro Team's group she is focused on interior desing, landscaping and materials, under the spirit of ecoloy and energetic balance of the space. She is the executive architect and supervisor of presentation, while the most powerful and captivating tool is the free perspective sketches, with the sensibility and conception of a scenographer.
She has published several articles in art magazines around subjects of history and theory of architecture.
IRO KONDYLI-GIANNOPOULOU
Architect Engineer N.T.U.A.
Born in 1981, in Athens. She finished her academic studies in 2010 when she graduated with an MA as a Architect Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens. First she has graduated in 2005 from the faculty of Interior Design and Object Design from the Technical Instituion of Athens.
Since 2005, she makes part of the principal core of the architectural firm Micro Team Architects. On the same time she works in the field of theatre, being in charge as an art director of various plays and dance shows.
On the same time, by acquiring the Diploma in Dance Education, in Modern Theatre from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (U.K.), she teaches since 2005 Modern dance, collaborating with succesful professionals of the field like Fotis Metaxopoulos, Maya Sofou and Vasiliki Marouli.
