George Kondylis
CEO – Project Manager – Architect EngineerBorn in Athens in 1959, he graduated from the 1st Plaka High School in 1977 and in 1983 from the Department of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. As a qualified architect, he has been practicing freelance since 1983, founding the architectural firm MICRO TEAM ARCHITECTS the same year with his partner Diana Giannopoulou. Their architectural work has been distinguished in architectural competitions and exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In 1986, at the 2nd Biennale of Young Artists of the Mediterranean countries, he presented 2 works in the fields of Architecture and Design, and in 1987 at the CLEAU-TEE exhibition “Individual housing in the EEC countries.”
In parallel with his architectural studies, he was involved in ceramics-sculpture and photography. Between 1977-1978, he apprenticed at the ceramics workshop of Mr. Birbilis (assistant of ASKT) and in 1979 participated in the KA’ Panhellenic Ceramics Exhibition with a sculptural work. From 1979 to 1983, he collaborated with the journalist A. Michala, accompanying him and conducting photographic reports in foreign countries. With this photographic material, 7 special editions of books were produced. In 1984-1985, he participated in a research team at the NTUA, funded by EOMMECH, on a project for original industrial design “children’s toys & outdoor constructions”. He is active in the fields of architectural composition and project management. As a member of the office’s research team, he has a directing role. He has extensive experience in architectural composition, drafting feasibility studies, supervision, and cost estimation of projects with special specifications, always maintaining a balance between the parameters of ‘time-quality-cost’ that govern each project and construction.

Diana Giannopoulou
Co-Founder – Interior Design Specialist – Architect EnginnerDiana Giannopoulou was born in Athens in 1959. She graduated in 1983 from the Department of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. As a qualified architect, she has been practicing freelance since 1983, founding the architectural firm MICRO TEAM ARCHITECTS the same year with her partner Georgios Kondylis. Their architectural work has been distinguished in architectural competitions and exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In 1986, at the 2nd Biennale of Young Artists of the Mediterranean countries, she presented 2 works in the fields of Architecture and Design, and in 1987 at the CLEAU-TEE exhibition “Individual housing in the EEC countries.”
From 1986 to 1990, she served as a professor of freehand and linear drawing to high school students aspiring to study Architecture, at the Supplementary Education Centers of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, during the academic year 1987-1988, she worked as a scientific collaborator in the field of Morphology – Rhythmology, specifically assisting Professor Nikos T. Cholevas in the course of Modern Architectural History.
From 1997 to 2001, she collaborated closely with the painter Daniel Gounaridis, undertaking the course of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at VAKALO, Art & Design College, in cooperation with the University of Darby, UK.
Her philosophical interest in the dialectical relationship between structured space and the human body, focusing on the concept of Homo Universalis, led her to delve into the study of human anatomy and functions, aiming at the essence of ‘living well’. From 2008 to 2013, she attended seminars on Cranio Sacral Therapy at the UPLEDGER INSTITUTE Inc in Scotland, Fascias Therapy, and the anatomy of Chi meridians, with therapist Claudio Santi from Florence. Since 2009, she has been a member of the Greek Yoga Association in Athens, attending yoga seminars and classes taught by Eva Ruchpaul.
In addition to her architectural profession, she is involved in painting and book illustration. She has successfully held solo painting exhibitions (2014_Argo gallery-Athens, 2004_Nostos art Cave-Santorini, 1997_Villa Stella-Heraklion Attica) and has participated in group exhibitions (Argo gallery_June & December 2015, Art Athina 2015).
As a member of the office’s research team, she is also engaged in interior architecture, landscape architecture, and material processing, always in the spirit of ecology, economy, and the energy balance of the space, aiming at the user’s ‘well-being’. Her articles have been published in art and architecture magazines, focusing on the history and theory of architecture and design.
